The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house with a combined gross domestic earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined household profits isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not post any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens nsfas status check and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 my nsfas 000 per annum.
